Is Sifu completely free to download?

The version offered on this page is a free pre-installed build (v1.29, 24 GB). The game itself is a paid title sold by Sloclap on Steam, so if you want to support the developers, purchasing it there is the recommended route.

How do I install Sifu from this download?

Extract the archive into a folder excluded from your antivirus, open the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install the included runtimes, then right-click Sifu.exe and choose Run as administrator. There is no setup wizard — the game launches directly from the folder.

What are the system requirements for Sifu?

You need a 64-bit processor and OS, Windows 10, an AMD FX-9590 or Intel Core i7-6700K (or equivalent), 10 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390X (or equivalent), DirectX 12, and 22 GB of available storage space.

Why do I get a D3DCOMPILER_43.dll error when launching?

That error usually means the DirectX runtime is missing. Open the Redist or _CommonRedist folder in the game files and install the included DirectX and Visual C++ redistributables, then relaunch the game as administrator.

Does Sifu support controllers?

Yes, the build has full controller support and is Steam Deck verified. Third-party pads may need Steam Input or a wrapper to register properly, while standard Xbox-style controllers are typically detected automatically.
