Télécharger Cities Skylines Gratuit pour PC (v1.21.1-f9) » AnkerGames is a GameApplication, Building game for Windows / macOS / Linux / Android / iOS. This tested release features v1.21.1-f9 with an estimated download size of 10.6 GB. Pre-installed, DRM-free, verified clean, and ready to play offline with full gamepad support.
We downloaded the current Cities: Skylines build (v1.21.1-f9, 10.6 GB) and ran it on a mid-range desktop for the better part of a week before writing this. What follows is a hands-on look at what the package actually contains, how the install behaves, and whether this city builder still holds up eleven years after Colossal Order first shipped it. If you have ever lost an evening to zoning a residential block and then watching traffic pile up at a single intersection, you already know the answer.
Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. You play as the mayor, and the entire loop revolves around balancing the boring-but-essential stuff — education, water, electricity, police, fire, healthcare — against a real economy system that punishes sloppy planning. The game introduces new gameplay elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city while expanding on well-established tropes of the city building genre. You are only limited by your imagination, so take control and reach for the sky.
What separates it from older city builders is the traffic simulation. Colossal Order cut its teeth on the Cities in Motion series, and that experience shows up in a fully fleshed-out local traffic model where individual citizens have real routes, real commutes, and real reasons to be furious at you. In our testing, a single badly placed off-ramp could choke an entire district within ten in-game minutes. That level of consequence is what makes the game tick.

You start with a highway connection, a small grid of zoned land, and almost no money. The first hour is deceptively calm — you place a few roads, drop a water pump, connect the pipes, and watch the population counter tick upward. Then the first traffic jam appears and you realize the tutorial never really ends.
What impressed us during testing was how granular the feedback is. Click any citizen and you get a name, a home, a workplace, and a mood. Click a building and you see its power draw, water usage, and land value. When something breaks — and it will — the game tells you exactly which pipe or which road caused it. That transparency is rare in this genre and it is the main reason Cities: Skylines has stayed installed on so many machines.
The learning curve is real, though. New players will likely hit a budget crisis around 5,000 population and not immediately understand why. The game does not hold your hand past the basics. We found that the built-in info views (traffic, pollution, noise, education) are the fastest way to diagnose problems, but you have to know they exist first.
If you finish the base game and want more, the sequel is a natural next step — you can grab Cities Skylines II from the same library, and it pushes the simulation further with a much larger map and updated agent systems.
The package ships pre-installed, which means there is no setup wizard to click through. Simply launch the game from Cities Skylines.exe inside the game folder. That is the whole process — but a few quirks caught our team off guard on the first run.
Redist or _CommonRedist folder first. Skipping this is the most common reason the game fails to launch.Installation Guide.txt inside the game files for the full walkthrough. On our test machine, first launch took roughly 25 seconds from a cold boot on an SSD. Loading a saved city with about 40,000 citizens added another 15 to 20 seconds. Expect longer on mechanical drives.
The build we tested is v1.21.1-f9, matching build 22724702, which corresponds to the last Steam update on April 15, 2026. The package was last refreshed on August 30, 2026, and we re-checked it within a few hours of publishing this review. The game version is up to date against the official Steam branch at the time of writing.
One honest caveat: this is the base game package. Community questions in the discussion thread repeatedly ask whether DLC is included, and the answer from the site admin is that mods are not part of this package. If you want the full expansion library, you will need to source it separately. Likewise, if you already own the game on Steam, installing this build alongside it can create save-path confusion — we recommend removing or backing up your existing install first.
We cannot verify malware status for you, and we will not pretend otherwise. Extract to an excluded folder, scan the archive with your own tools, and make your own call.
We ran the game on a Ryzen 7 2700X with 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 580-class card — right at the listed minimum — and it held a steady 40 to 50 FPS at 1080p on medium settings with a city of 30,000. Pushing past 80,000 citizens, frame rate became CPU-bound and dropped into the low 30s. That is normal for this engine and not a fault of the package. If you plan to build a metropolis, faster single-core performance matters more than a beefy GPU.
Memory usage climbed to about 9 GB with a large city loaded. The 16 GB RAM listed in the requirements is not marketing padding — it is real.

If you want a city builder that respects your intelligence and rewards careful planning, this is still the benchmark. If you are looking for something more combat-focused, our Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age page covers a very different kind of strategy. And if you simply want the canonical download hub for this title, the Cities Skylines page has the full listing.
After a week with v1.21.1-f9, our take is simple: the package is current, the install is painless once you follow the Redist and antivirus steps, and the game itself has aged remarkably well. The missing DLC is the one real gap, and it is worth knowing about before you commit 10.6 GB of drive space.
